Shhhhhh.....a new album is coming.

It's begun.

We don't know what we're calling it. We don't know which songs are going to make the cut. Hell, half the time we aren't even 100% on our own names....keep your expectations where they belong. But there's an album coming in the frozen wintery months of 2019 and it should help to warm those frozen toes of yours just enough to help you eek through.

Cheers,

SGF

SGF parts ways with guitarist Owen Ray, welcomes Benny Cole

A statement from the band:

It is with great sadness that way bid farewell to our friend and guitarist, the phenomenal Owen Ray. Owen has been a part of the band since its inception, and instrumental to the growth of the band as a whole and that of each member individually. Alas, life happens and as Owen continues to pursue his education in Madison, WI, the growing commitments and demands of the band find themselves at odds with focused study. We can't imagine a better friend or brother, and we will miss him every day. We wish him nothing but the very best, and look forward to having him onstage as a guest whenever he happens to be around.

At the same time, we're thrilled to welcome guitarist Benny Cole to fill Owen's role in St. George's Folly. Benny has played with us many times, sitting in for nearly every band member at one time or another. We're fortunate to have someone ready to pick up the torch, and even more fortunate to already have counted him among our friends. All of us in St. George's Folly, including Owen, are excited to see Benny step into a permanent role in our endeavor.

These changes have brought laughter, tears, and (above all else) a powerful sense of camaraderie to all of us. We're humbled by the support of our friends, family, and fans, and we'll continue to strive toward an even brighter tomorrow as brothers in a new day.

St. George's Folly is a Black Sun Group brand.

If you're reading this, go to our facebook page and leave a comment somewhere that says "Owen looks like Johnny Bravo". It'll drive him nuts.
